Okay Game Guide |
This game guide is okay. It is not as helpful as the Star Wars or Indiana Jones game guide. This guide gives you more bell info than anything else. There are not a lot of short cuts and I do not recall any cheats.
It will however tell you what each bug, fish, and fossil are worth. That is about all we have used it for. |

Great way to keep track of fish, bugs, inventory and |

...that's about it. It has all the characters names listed, birthdays, bugs, fish, furniture and some hints to getting special items. This book will allow you to keep track of your inventory and special occasions. The monthly calendar section is helpful since it tells you what bugs, fish and what events are available for that specific month. It does have a lot of flaws and leaves out information that would be beneficial. Not easy to follow and does not offer "major" cheat codes. For example, being new to the game I searched the book for a reason why the bus is not always available to go to the city all the time and did not find anything except that the bus is available 24/7. Later I found out (not from the book) that you can not go to the city if your gates (WiFi) is open. Since the game is so new and there are still a lot of new discoveries out there, maybe they will come out with a newer version of this that will be more helpful with hints and clues. |

Cant get enough!!! |

i love this game. when i first saw it, i said...well i dont know about this game, it doesnt look like i can play this everyday all day like i do most of my video games. but the first day i played it, i was hooked. i mean, i have to play it everyday. my bf reminds me when KK Slider is in town and when i need to go to the hair salon and everything. it is crazy how real this game is. i would reccommend this game to any and everybody. |

A nice book... |

Not quite as good as an Offical Nintendo guide would have been, but this guide does give some good pointers to new and old Animal Crossing fans alike. Some of the nicer things are added checklists for all 4 townies to the items list and a cool doublesided poster. Downsides is some of the things like the Fish and Bug guides are somewhat confusing and there are some errors. If you have the spare cash and/or don't want to download & print lists off the internets, I'd say it's a good buy. |

Pretty Helpful But With A Few Flaws |
I bought the guide the same day I bought the game, although I've been playing Animal Crossing for years. The guide has been a huge help to me; I especially love the fish and bug charts. It's easy to keep track of which ones I've already caught!
It also lists all the furniture sets, holidays, characters birthdays, where and when to catch bugs and fish, how to get sliver/gold tools, and a lot more!
I wish they would have included a face guide and a hair guide, though.
Over all, I would definitely recommend the guide for everyone, even more hard core fans. |
